So, I missed Bloggy Boot Camp in Philadelphia this year.
I also missed out on BlogHer12 in New York.
I’m going to need to do some research to find out when and where other blog/social media conferences and meet ups will be held. I had a good time (although I could/should have been more outgoing) at the GLO Party I attended. I want to do more. I want to meet more people. I want to make more friends.
I know there are other events out there. I see everyone on Twitter attending them. Usually they are far away from home, I don’t have the extra cash at the time or I don’t realize they are happening until everyone is tweeting from them. None of which are helpful.
I will admit, I was a little glad I didn’t get to BlogHer12. Why? I had the opportunity to have Soup for the weekend and I can never get enough of her. Especially since she just learned to crawl. Every day is something new. I have to soak it all up when I can. There is always BlogHer13, right?
In the meantime, I will look for other events to hold me over. Besides, starting out smaller is obviously better.

I hear ya! I’ve missed all the local ones due to bad timing. Our schedule just doesn’t allow me make it to conferences and events that I would LOVE to be at. I feel like I’m missing out, I want to put real live people behind the blog profiles and twitter handles!
That was the most awesome part of the GLO Party. Finally being able to match blogs/twitter to live people.
If you hear of any close to Minni, let me know. If you decide to attend any close to Minni, even BETTER.
Trust me, if I end up anywhere close to you for any reason, you’ll know!! LOL.
