My chaotic life

When he picked me up after the Lee Style Party I attended my Hubby and I were talking about the event and how much I enjoyed it. He took an interest and we had the following conversation:

Hubby: “Do you have to blog about this?”

Me: “I don’t have to but I can and probably will.” {which I did}

Hubby: “How is your blogging thing going? Have you been doing anything with it?”

Me: “I try. I do well for a few days and then our life gets crazy and I don’t get time to do anything for a while.”

Hubby: “Why don’t you do a post and talk about how crazy our life has been then?”

I think he’s on to something.

Things have been crazy around here for a while now. I suppose a 6 and 8 month old will do that. We still have Soup at least every other weekend, if not more often. This past weekend was Thursday until Tuesday. I have Pippy every weekend from Saturday at 6am until Monday at 1am. This leads to very little sleep most. Day time with them is a whole new game too. Soup is mobile and Pippy isn’t going to be far behind. Now we also have Pippy here Thursdays into Fridays. Add into that the fact that I’ve been picking up some hours at my part time job. Those hours? Also night time. That leaves Hubby home taking care of babies and still having to get up for work in the morning himself.

This week I expect to get very little sleep. I have Tuesday & Wednesday nights to recover from this weekend that just ended. Soup was sick and Pippy didn’t want to sleep. Come Thursday Pippy will be here around lunchtime. Hubby will get home from work about 4pm. I have to be at work at 8pm. Pippy will get picked up at 12:30am. Hubby leaves for work at 5am. I get done work at 6am. Friday I again have to work at 8pm and will have to skip out by 5am so I am here when Pippy comes at 6am. Obviously I am going to be exhausted! She will be with us until 1am Monday. Don’t expect to see or hear from me on Tuesday. I’ll be in bed!! This type of schedule can’t continue. I just can not keep going without sleep.

We also have our new little granddaughter, Noodle. Well, she was born, we haven’t actually seen her. It is so different having Noodle in New Mexico and not getting to see her when we have Soup as such a big part of our lives.

I went a few days where I could not move my head/neck to the right which was not fun.

I’m not even sure what else has gone on around here. The days just turn into a blur. We have not gotten to get away at all this summer. School starts up on the 4th for my son. I am trying to hold out hope that we find some sort of normalcy at that point.

I want to get more involved in social media events. I really enjoyed the Lee Style Party and GLO Party I attended. I am going to make this a priority. I need to have something to focus on. I am going to continue to try my best to get posts up on a regular basis. If I go MIA for a few days or a week, rest assured, I’ll be back.

How do you handle it when your life turns into non-stop chaos?
