Pinspired: nothing so sweet as baby feet

Bringing this post back to life with #FlashbackFriday
**I have since added ribbon trim around the sides and am still trying to decide where to hang them!

For months now I have seen people posting things about getting a free 8×10 canvas print, just pay shipping. Many times I have considered ordering one, and still may at some point. Then along came Pinterest. Do you know how many different methods you can find to make your own canvas prints? It’s crazy.

I happened to come across a 3 pack of 8×10 canvas on clearance in a store I don’t recall for $4.99. Naturally I grabbed them thinking I’d figure out something to do with them on Pinterest. That was about 3 weeks ago. They have just been sitting in the wreck of a mess that is my desk since then. No longer!

Unfortunately I did not take photos of the process as I went along. I can tell you that this is the post I got my instructions from.

I have wanted to get a canvas print of a photo I took of Soups feet in the hospital when she was born since it was taken. Now that Noodle is here I naturally want her feet too. The wait is over!

I used my canvas, printed the photos on regular printer paper in the size I needed (making sure to reverse the image). I chose to make them black & white prints. I followed the steps and love how they turned out. I still want to cover the edges with ribbon at some point, when I purchase it. For the 3rd canvas I chose to use words. I screenshot a blank word document to get the white background I then was able to design as I wanted using PicMonkey. I again, reversed it before printing. This is extra important when using text. You don’t want your work to come out backwards.

My text says There’s really nothing so sweet as tiny little baby feetĀ

All that’s left is to decide where I want to hang them!

What do you think??
