These were mostly all Pinterest inspired items in each basket. Everyone seemed to really enjoy them. You can click on the photos to go to the page I got the directions from or go to my Pinterest page and look at my board titled Gifts Ideas
I did modify a few things to meet our needs. I stopped at a local thrift store to pick up a variety of baskets & used some spare fabric I already had to put in them.
This bread was loved! It calls for buttermilk that I did not have when I made a loaf. Luckily between Google & Twitter I was able to find out you can make your own with vinegar or lemon juice! I will be making another loaf of this over the weekend.
The candles were not from Pinterest, but should have been. {I’ll just pin my own picture!} Hubby & I had a ton of candles that had burned down too low to use yet had too much left to throw away. We put the candle in a pot of simmering water to melt it, then poured the wax into a small jar with a wick. Easy as that!
So easy! Put hot chocolate mix in the jar, top with marshmallows & candy canes.
Mellisa over at Getting All My Ducks In A Row posted these after making them with her children. I printed out directions and sent my son to the kitchen. The 1st batch didn’t work out so well because he didn’t put parchment paper on the cookie sheet. 2nd try worked out great!
These were just silly items but, cute. a wisk with some toule & Hershey Kisses inside & a note that says We ‘wisk’ you a Merry ‘Kiss’mas
How cute are these? A pack of microwave popcorn to go with that hot chocolate!
I can’t wait to see what we can come up with for next year! I will be stalking Pinterest for the next 11 months waiting!
Did you do any Pinterest inspired crafts for the holidays?
